I have 6.5 vcenter and 8 ESXi hosts. now we will install Microsoft SQL cluster services. We will install two windows servers on different hosts. rdm disk is used in this structure I read from forums and documents so it is necessary to use rdm disk in this configuration for quorum disk. but I can't get image backup in this structure? in some forums, virtual machines vmotion with another host a while moving to ms sql cluster would be a problem. so if i move to one sql windows vm to another host before i must close the sql services ?
I want to learn what the above is true and what do you suggest
