Hello,
had an vsphere 6.5 environment with several autodeployed hosts running for years.
the hosts are diskless so the productlocker location for vmware tools was redirected to a shared folder on datastore. setting for uservars.productlockerlocation via hostprofile. image profile is without tools
after upgrading to 7.0.3 autodeploy is working fine. but after provisioning newer tools in the shared folder no new tools were advertised to the vm.
on the host there is no symlink productlocker created in the root directory. advanced setting to the shared location is correct.
redeployed the host with 6.5 - symlink is created. redeployed with 7.0 - symlink is missing.
is there any change in autodeploy v7 ?
