Path failover will usually work automatically/transparently, if multiple paths are available.

Do you have an issue with this? Please explain.

also i have attached a pic and could not understand that means :

Fine. You need to understand

C -- Channel

T -- Target

L -- LUN

vmhba2:C0:T4:L4

20:80:00:c0:ff:19:05:02 21:70:00:c0:ff:19:05:02

LUN: 4

status :Active

Means.. Your datastore is accessible & currently active via Channel 0: Target 4: LUN 4.

what does path means here is 14 ?? ---> It means your storage can able to access 14 different paths. If one fails you don't have any control to select specific path, it will automatically select as per SATP & PSP cocnfiguration.

Refer the below linke,

VMware vSphere 5.1

target 6 means that this hba card manage 6 datastore?

Do you (or did you) have other storage systems connected to this host. Targets are basically the storage ports to which the HBA is connected/zoned.

what does path means here is 14 ??

The target presents 7 LUNs (devices) to the hosts HBAs, and it uses two paths to each LUN, i.e. 14 paths in total.

Without knowing how the configuration is supposed to work, it's not really easy to answer the question.

Please provide some more information about e.g. the setup, hosts, FC switches, storage.

Looking at the two screenshots you provided so far, and assuming that the hosts should be configured identically, I'd say there's something wrong with zoning, presentation, ...
