Your screenshot shows the service with Startup Type "Disabled" instead of "Automatic"!?

Please check whether changing the startup type solves the issue.

Hello,

What is the vCenter version.

Inventory service is showing disabled and not sure why... change it to automatic and start the service. If it is 6.0, then stop all services and start all services
