@ albatros99
Thank you for your post on VMware Communities.
From the attached screenshot I understand you are seeing the following error on vCenter VAMI:
Error in method invocation [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/storage/core/software-update/tmp/latest/rpm-manifest.json'
Try the below steps to fix the issue:
Login to vCenter via an SSH session
Run the following command on vCenter:
/usr/bin/wget --server-response --tries 3 --waitretry 1 --connect-timeout 10 -P /storage/core/software-update/tmp/latest https://vapp-updates.vmware.com/vai-catalog/valm/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/7.0.2.0000...
Recheck for vCenter updates on VAMI page.
If you still see the same issue, reboot the VCSA.

Thanks, worked for me on a fresh 7.0.2 install, without reboot needed.
I am running 7.0.2.00200. I have this error every-time i logon to the VAMI and click on Update.
tried that the command which runs successfully, then after reboot, I get the error again.
Error in method invocation [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/storage/core/software-update/tmp/latest/rpm-manifest.json'
The message disappears after checking for updates using CD=ROM and URL. So I am guessing this a bug but, without a newer updates, i can't tell if it will fail to access & download future patches/updates. Time will tell.
It worked with -no-check-certificate added
