enabling WAN access to VCSA using NSX Load Balancer

Hi All,

I am trying to enable WAN access to the vCenter server and I when trying to access the web client I get :

"503 Service Unavailable

No server is available to handle this request."

Does anyone have a blog, link to a working solution?

thanks

Could you explain more about your setup how it all connects together?
You mentioned WAN access, are you referring to Internet, outside of data centre, or something else?

If you have a simple diagram, that would be great

I have central IT and other delegated IT admin groups.

Central IT have bridged access to a vsphere cluster running NSX. We can access vCenter just fine.

We are trying to configure access to the vcenter for the delegated IT admin group through the "front end" (internet facing) using NSX load balancing.

eg. backend vCenter address :10.10.2.2 , front end Load Balancer address - 129.45.45.20

We added a vNIC to the vcenter and added it to a logical switch which has a default gateway/interface configured on an NSX router which is adjacent to a edge service router/gateway (the load balancer)

When we try to configure a virtual server for access to that vCenter we get 503 error.

I am assuming at this stage that the SSO redirection is adding complexity to the solution.

cheers

I believe this is more vCenter access issue not NSX so I have moved your post to vCenter sub-forum.

If it's behind Load Balancer I assume your vCenter is behind a NAT device.

I'm not sure if this is supported but this post has similar issue and there's a reply that said it's not supported vSphere Web Client behind a NAT
