I'm trying to change the storage policy of a large number of VM's. I was able to change the policy of the configuration file, but not the vDisks. Neither with powercli nor via Web Client. It doesn't fail for all VM's and I cannot find a difference between VM's where it's working and where it fails. I get an error like "Set-SpbmEntityConfiguration : 22.01.2016 12:44:47 Set-SpbmEntityConfiguration The scheduling parameter change failed. Reason 1: The scheduling parameter change failed. Reason 1:". I restarted the VCSA (6.0U1b), this didn't help. The only way that works is to svMotion the VM and it's vDisks to a different datastore and change the policy during the migration dialoge.
Any ideas?
