can install vCSA 6.5 or vCenter 6.5 without domain or dns service

i know vmware not recommend install vCSA without domain controller now i want to know can install and run vCSA without domain or dns server ?

will that work ?

Hi,

It's still possible to install vCSA without FQDN information or DNS services available. By default, vCSA will assign IP address information as system name for the appliance.

But in dns field while installing that what do i have to fill?

Hi,

From what I've seen, it doesn't has to be a correct IP address information (of DNS Server). The installation process can still continue (with any IP address information that you typed).
