Hello,
I have an issue to migrate a Windows vCenter 6.0 to vCSA 6.5 U1.
Environment:
vCenter Server Version: 6.0 Build 4541947
Win OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 with MS-SQL 2012
VMware Update Manager: Installed on the vCenter Server
If I mount the vCenter 6.5 Build 8024368 ISO on my vCenter Server and start the migration assistant then the migration assistant found only the update manager component.
If I uninstall the update manager before I start the MA on the vCenter server then I get the message: "No supported products were found on this machine".
Also I try to update the vCenter server to version 6.0 U3. I get this message: "Installation of component VMware Open SSL components failed with error code '1620'. Check the logs for more details."
In the vminst.log are some entries:
E: wWinMain: MSI result of install of "Z:\vCenter-Server\Packages\vmware-openssl.msi" may have failed: 1620 (0x00000654)
E: LaunchPkgMgr: Operation on vmware-openssl.msi appears to have failed: 1620 (0x00000654)
I: PitCA_MessageBox: Displaying message: "Installation of component VMware Open SSL components failed with error code '1620'. Check the logs for more details."
Does somebody has any idea?
