Which log will have an entry for removing a tag from vCenter?

I checked vpxd, UI, inventory logs but no luck.

At last glance, this wasn't logged. One of the many down sides of tags if still true.

Hi Chann1905,

I could find some logging in vpxd-svcs.log: /var/log/vmware/vpxd-svcs/vpxd-svcs.log

Tag name: Test

Events just log a attach and detach task, however it doesn't provide much information

if you are still after this, i have just found out myself.. It is logged under the vCenter event logs and not the VM or the cluster.. as it is a vcenter event. "User XXXX detached tag xxxx from object xxxxxx" 😃
