Which Alarm should I use to define when both NICs are down on an ESXi host

Jump to solution

Hi,  I had a recent situation where both of my NIC cards were unplugged, and we had a breakdown on our alerting process.  Does anyone know which built-in Alarm would help me discover this as soon as it happened?

Take a look at the below 3 alarms

Network Connectivity Lost

Network Uplink Redundancy Degraded

Network Uplink Redundancy Lost

You can also create custom alarm if you required. Take a look at the document to creating custom alarms
