Welcome to the Community - Changing the vCenter host name should have no impact other than having to enter the new host name when connecting with the vSphere client. Changing host name of the ESXi host might require readding the host to the environment but as I recall if you change the name from within the vCenter environment will allow the host to remain connected to the environment.
