So I am having a lot of problems with my current backup solution. I will leave the vendor name out of it. But I want to get an idea of what other people are using. Also please let me know if your solution supports high availability, file level restores, etc....
Thanks in advance, P. S. I am running vsphere 5.5.
We currently use Netbackup. yes to HA. We do not bother with file level restores at the vmware level, our important files are stored/backed up through our storage vendors directly (I.E. Netapp). We do use Netbackup for those shared drive or file systems as well, but its not as on demand as the netapp.
Veeam is elegant and simple! It is the only backup and replication solution I know of that can be up and running in under an hour.
