Afternoon All,
I've been thinking, (doesn't happen often) when you have are exposed to a new vcenter environment how do you all go about collating the information, to fully understand how things are put together, when documentation doesn't exist.
I tend to run RVTools, but that doesn't tell me anything about whether SRM is configured, where the database server lives and all the other useful info etc. I know you can sniff through the GUI and find this info out but would be good if there was some tool or even a powershell script to run to provide that sort of infomation.
Anyone got any tips or tricks to help discovery what's enabled in an vmware environment, and even what service accounts are used?
