I have an VMware envirnoment with NetApp storage FAS 2350 FC.
In Vsphere client i see the datastore usage is used about 500Gb but in NetApp, the usage of the LUN published to the vSphere is showing 200GB used.
i.e.., 800GB is free from the NetApp prospective.
Why is the difference between vSphere and NetApp console.
Note: The LUN is thick provisioned.
There are several VMs in thick provisioned.
