Virtual mmachine disks consolidation is needed, but unable to access file <unspecified filename> since it is licked

Hi,


I saw "Virtual mmachine disks consolidation is needed" in summary of VM, then I tried to consolidate but failure. Error " unable to access file <unspecified filename> since it is licked".

I haved tried to create new snapshot then delete all but still failure...

Please advice.

The host that has this VM reboot that and reregister the vm.

Any solution can bypass reboot host ?

Or...

services.sh restart  and the try the consolidation again..

Will "services.sh restart" affect running host / cluster / VM ?

Hello,

If you exécute this command "services.sh restart" Not affected any vm's and clusters.


Please try to move that vm one host to another host and create new snap shot and delete. It may be fix you issue.
