Vcenter service not started

Hi ,

Good day!!!

i am facing issue in vcenter server as when i tried to start vcenter service am getting error and this issue was occurred after a reboot of vcenter server.

Here i attached the snap shot for the same and thanks in advance for your solution.

Note: we already checked the database log and its not full.

Hi all,

Thanks for your valuable support!!!

I fixed the issue by analyzing the  .vpxd log file  in vcenter server and we found default port 80 was used by sqlexpress reporting service.

Vcenter services started successfully after disabling the sql reporting service.

Check the event viewer under the Application stream. What does it have?

That event is not helpful. Attach vpxd.log.

As mentioned by daphnissov  vpxd.log file would be helpful. see the link for logs location VMware Knowledge Base
