We have multiple isolated Vcenters in our environment in locations that have their own separate AD. This means that the each virtual environment operates independently, but they are recorded in the same Service Now CMDB. We have seen where ESX servers in the different environment have the same correlation ID as they are in different isolated vcenters. We have seen in the past that in the same use case that some have had the same serial number.
I am trying to confirm that it is possible to the have the same correlation ID or the same serial number or the same MoridIndex for separate entries for ESX servers in different isolated vcenters.
Is this possible?
