Vcenter 6.5 inaccessable VM

Vcenter 6.5 8 ESXI hosts.

The other day I had a power outage and the one ESXI hosts UPS has not arrived yet.

When it came back up all VM's where good to go all started no problems

I use Veeam B&R 9.5 to back up my VM's on the replication job it failed and when I went to the ESXI Host to check the snapshots I found that this replica VM is inaccessible.

I can not remove it from inventory i can not delete it.

It is ok to completely blow this away but I can not find a way to do that .

Any ideas

Thank you

Tom

Slightly confused. You use B&R to back them up. Then you run a separate replication job. The source of the replication job is the live source VM or the backup of that VM? And the replica cannot be found? Can you show what this looks like?

Veeam B&R has separate jobs one to backup and then another to create a replication.

This job only has one VM in the job, I have other jobs that have may VM's in them with no problem

Not sure if the power failure caused issues but the system was back up long before this job ran.

As you can see inaccessible

This is the menu options available

Not much to go on.

Where is that replica stored? It appears to be on some sort of storage that is no longer accessible to this ESXi host. What version of vCenter Server is this, BTW?

Hello

It was kept on the Same host as seen in my image TGCEESXI-3 .

All my Data stores are online.

All my ESXI hosts are running 6.5 and all the patches are current as of July 1, 2018

I did delete the files from the data store first I was doing some housecleaning and deleted it by mistake

Thoughts

Thank you

Hi

I got it

I restarted the host today and to my amazement the menu option on the replia showed Remove from inventory

I was successfully able to remove it from inventory

Now back to a clean host.

This can be closed as resolved

Thank you
