Hi I have tried this several ways:
I tried upgrading the SQL Express 2005 db to 2008 R2, <---- Seems to work fine, but Vcenter will not load.
I tried detaching, and attaching to a new SQL 2008 R2 install. <--- Seems to attach fine, but same issue.
I tried backing up, and restoring the db to a new SQL 2008 R2 install. <--- Will not restore.
All of the services are running.
I went into the vpxd-5795 log and I found "SQL execution took too long."
I changed the registry and I changed the DCOM settings to point to the new SQL server.
What am I doing wrong?
What else can I try?
