VUM : upload Esxi 6.0 ISO failed

Hi

I have upgraded my vcenter (VCSA) to 6.5.

I want to deploy Esxi 6.0 with VUM, but when I upload the ISO : "The Upgrade Upgrade Package can not be used with VMware vSphere Update Manager."

I managed to upload 6.5 ISO.

I think I could deploy older esxi with the last VUM. Am I wrong ?

Thanks

Marcolefo12,

I just tried to upload a 6.0 ISO to our 6.5 VCSA VUM and ran into the same error. From what I can find on this, it appears host upgrades have to be from the same version of Update Manager. Here is what the documentation says, 'With Update Manager 6.5 you can upgrade hosts that are running ESXi 5.5 or ESXi 6.0 to ESXi 6.5. Host upgrades to ESXi 5.0, ESXi 5.1, ESXi 5.5, or ESXi 6.0 are not supported.'
