VROPS 6 is not clearing alerts properly.
We have many alerts that are older, we have canceled them and they keep re-appearing.
One example is an alert for a VM shows:
'Virtual machine has chronic high memory workload leading to memory stress'
Caused by 'VM-NAME has symptom Virtual Machine Memory Stress at Critical level'
The alert shows 98% memory usage, however I review memory usage in guest OS, and on vcenter performance history, and usage is around 30%. I cancel the alert, memory usage remains under 30%, but the alert reappears after another wait cycle (5 minutes).
A reboot of VROPS appliance did not help. Any ideas?
