VMware vSphere Update Manager Extension status changed from green to red

Hi

Please provide us a workaround in fixing this alert "VMware vSphere Update Manager Extension status changed from green to red". we can't see any events in the vCenter for this.

you may need to change the account which the VUM service uses from "local service" to vCenter service account (or another who had permissions on VUM database)

Have you tried just restarting the service? I see this happen from time to time. Restarting the service fixed it for me... Hope it helps!

its not an local service account its an admin account.

Yes rebooted the service for while its ok and again we got few more alerts for the same.
