VMware vSphere 5.5 Web Client very slow Performance

Helo,

we have increased the statistic level for performance data and since then the Web Client is very slow.

Then we have decreased the statistic level and shrink the database, but still we have perfomance Problems with the Web Client.

The vSphere Client works fine.

Thank You

Stavros

Yes, but it's still very slow. Before we increase the statistic level, the Web Client works fine.

Hi

Try increasing the Web Client JVM heap size

E.g. To 3GB

Details are documented in KB here http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2021302

vSphere Web Client

Configuration file location:

installation_directory\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\vSphereWebClient\server\bin\service\conf\wrapper.conf

Heap size parameter:

########

# JVM Memory

########

wrapper.java.maxmemory=heap_size
