VMware vCenter Converter - How to use a image of Acronis True Image 2016?

I didn't find out how to create a Virtual PC from a Acronis True Image Backup. For Testing i installed under Windows XP.

afaik backup images created by this TrueImage version are not supported by the converter. What you may do is to create a new VM, boot it from a TrueImage recovery CD/ISO, and do the restore this way (e.g. with the backup image on a network share).

You can convert the Acronis Backup .tib file with the Acronis Backup and Restore 12 Server (maybe get a 60 day trial)

note that the target ESXi host has to have a Vcenter Server associated with it.

also, the .tib file has to be on a network share and can´t be locally attached to the physical server in order to do the conversion.
