Currently we have two VCenter deployments consisting of 3 servers each. I am using EMC storage for the backend and am doing SAN to SAN replication between the two sites. In a DR situation I am able to fail the over a replicated VM within the emc SAN to the DR site and just turn on the VM at the second location. This work really well but I am looking at adding encryption. We are running VMware ESXi, 6.7.0 on all servers. I can't seem to find an answer about sharing the KMS keys between the two separate VCenter deployments. Basically if I use VMware to encrypted a server at site A and replicated it using the EMC san to san replication to site B. Can I make sure the VCenter at site B has the keys to decrypted and turn the VM back on if I need to fail over.
