VMware ESXi 6.5 - Shared-nothing vMotion question

Hi,

we plan to order two Dell PowerEdge for ESXi 6.5 standard edition. One of the hosts will host the vcsa 6.5.

Is it possible to migrate a VM from one host to the other while running?

Note: The hosts will only have their local raid sets and no fc/iscsi san between them. And the VM is not allowed to be powered off.

Best regards

Tom

The vSphere Essentials license does not allow this. With all the rest, you can transfer vCenter without stopping.

But there is little sense in configuring without a shared storage. For example, HA will not work.
