I am keen to start using the content library on VCSA 6.5. However before i do that i am looking at creating a central store for a copy of the latest VMware tools. Now i cant see anything that says i can use the content library to store the VMtools for installation on a host? Is this possible or am i just dreaming about how cool this feature would actually be?
Just dont want to waste my time if this is not possible to do
Thanks in advance
Unless I'm missing something new, although you may can store VMware Tools on a Content Library, you will not be able to mount that to virtual machines. But, you can follow the approach of create a central shared repository for VMware Tools on a NFS share and then change the advanced setting UserVars.ProductLockerLocation to the location of the shared storage.
