VMRC console problems with vCenter 6.0 web-client on Mac OSX desktop

I'm having a terrible time having a VMRC console work on a Mac OSX desktop after upgrading my lab to vCenter 6.0 and using web client.

The 6.0 Client Integration Pack gets installed, I restart my browsers. I am using the VCSA vCenter.

When logging into the web-client now, there is a brief flash of a dialog box popping up and dying immediately.

Not sure what should be in there, as its far too quick to ever capture.

Since Safari has huge banners about not being supported, I mostly am trying Chrome since that is the listed compatible browser.

When I click 'Launch Remote Console', I get a new tab opened up with a 'vmrc://clone:cst-VCT-5222....@vc.domain.com:443/?moid=vm-78'

and nothing more. In poking around the Client Integration App logs, the "URL" handler is registered, and something is attempting to be

launched, but something fails, and doesn't work.

Thankfully, I've found that that clicking on the image of the desktop thumbnail on the Summary tab launches an HTML5 console,

so this isn't a show stopper, but since VMRC is shiping with this setup, I'd ask if anybody actually has VMRC working.
