VM remote console connected

Hi,

I've defined an alarm that is (from my understanding) to trigger when someone connects to a VM via VMRC but i cannot for some reason get it to work ... it simply wont trigger.

I've tried to have the alarm on different levels, vcenter, datacenter, cluster and vm, and it doesnt matter ... it wont fire.

I've tried for all vm, with and without part of or full vm name (is equal to, end with) and it doesnt matter ... it wont fire.

I've tried with other vm related custom alerts, in example 'VM being cloned' and it fires without a problem.

Should it work like I am expecting or am I thinking about this all wrong?

Anyone that has an solution to the problem(?), encounterd the same issue or have solved a similar problem in another fashion?
