We noticed that when validating the sustainability metrics for the hosts and virtual machines, the power metric that was reported by an arbitrary VM was significantly higher than the consumption reported by the host.
For example,
Host machine avg power usage: 205.417W
Virtual machine avg power usage: 17131.572W
We do not see this happen in another vCenter instance that is running v6.7. Is there a bug that is being tracked that deals with investigating why or how VM power usage can be higher that the hosts' for vCenter v7.0+?
