VM looses its Video

VMware 6.5 ESXI

I have one VM a Windows 2016 Data Center Server running Exchange 2016 DAG and this is node 1

I have three methods of accessing the console of the server

1. VNC viewer

2. Team Viewer

3. Console from my vCenter

All three methods show the exact same display ether blank or grey

I am able to ping the host

I am able to send remote power shell commands

Email is still working.

The Server has 32 GB of Ram and Exchange has a habit of using it all then relishing it.

NODE 2 is fine. The only difference between NODE 1 and Node 2 is the number of CPU's  NODE 1 has 8 and Node 2 only 2

Any ideas

Thank you and Happy New Year to All

Tom

Sounds like something is hung up in the guest. A reboot is probably in order. Your DAG nodes really need to be symmetrical in configuration.

Yes I just did a restart  all back now.

Can you further explain this ?  How is this done?

Meaning you need to configure each node in the DAG with the same allocation of hardware, namely CPU and memory.

Got it

I am waiting on a memory upgrade for my one ESXI host that has same number of CPU's as NODE 1

Thank you
