VM cluster HA issue

Hi,

For VM cluster HA, I have tried below test

VM guests restarted and migrated to other hosts

==================================================

- Unplug power cord of ESXi host to force shutdown

- Restart ESXi host in vSphere client

- Shutdown ESXi host in vSphere client

But VM guests haven't restart and migrate when I unplugged both active & standby cable of the ESXi host.

VM guests like ESXi host just changed the status to disconnected only.

Is any configuration issue ?

Could anyone give me some advice ?

Thanks

Check how is the host isolation response configured, see: VMware High Availability host isolation response types (1030320) | VMware KB

Can you confirm that all virtual machines are stored on a datastore accessible by both hosts and that you can vMotion virtual machines between hosts? And please, check the following vSphere HA checklist for additional requirements: vSphere HA Checklist

Yes, all virtual machines are stored on a datastore accessible by both hosts and that you can vMotion virtual machines between hosts

Beacuse I have tested VM guests restarted and migrated to other hosts in below situation.

==================================================

- Unplug power cord of ESXi host to force shutdown

- Restart ESXi host in vSphere client

- Shutdown ESXi host in vSphere client

Just failure when both management network disconnected

It's setting issue in "Virtual Machine Options" under "vSphere HA"

It's work after changed setting from "Leave power on" to "Shut down"
