VDS import to new vCenter fails

In the process of migrating to a new 5.1 vCenter we upgraded our old vCenter from 5.0 U1 to 5.1 since we rely heavily on vds. This would make it possible to export current VDS configurations and import them to our new vCenter. When I try to import the VDS Configuration to the new vCenter I recieve this error :

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm getting the same/similar error.  I can create NEW dVS's no problem, but I get that error as well, despite the import action itself completing successfully----there's no vDS resulting.  Was this ever resolved for you?

Hi All Smiley Happy

wanna check this..??

VMware KB: Cannot use the vDS Import function to migrate to new vCenter Server

According to this link..this issue is a bug and under investigation from VMware..
U can check also on ur vpxd.log to make sure if it's the same error or not..
Waiting for further comments.. Smiley Happy
