VCenter Failing to initialize

We recently rebooted our VCenter server and following reboot, we cannot get the web interface to load.  I am fairly new to administering VCenter and am at a bit of a loss as to what we should try.  When trying to load the web interface, we get the following error in the web browser:

503 Service Unavailable (Failed to connect to endpoint: [N7Vmacore4Http20NamedPipeServiceSpecE:0x000055ab84cd1d10] _serverNamespace = / action = Allow _pipeName =/var/run/vmware/vpxd-webserver-pipe)

Where do I start?

Please first start by searching these forums. This issue comes up weekly. There are multiple threads open as to the cause and resolution. Very often it's a matter of waiting for all services to load.

Login through SSH or Console to the VCSA and check the diskspace by using "df -h".

If there is space left check the vpxd.log whats going wrong.

Joerg

What version of vCenter are you running?

You might just have to give it time for all the services to start. Sometimes it take up to 10 to 15 minutes for it to start up. However I have also seen the Database get corrupted and you have to start from scratch.
