VCSA Upgrade 6.5 to 6.7u1 Failes

Upgrading 65 to 67u1 and getting an error VC is not in the same cluster. It's deployed in the same cluster.

I also tried using the connect to host option with all the appliances on the same host. DRS is set to manual for the upgrade. VCHA is on.

I recommend that you first destroy the VCHA setup before trying the upgrade.

You can reconfigure VCHA after the upgrade is complete. It's quick and easy.

Can you try putting in the specific ESXi Host at the bottom instead of vCenter and see if that works? Don't forget to enable ssh & use root. Report back your results and specific vCSA build versions if it fails.

So far support is stumped. Which amazes me because it's nothing special. VCSA to VCSA upgrade

that worked. it's excellent that the documentation doesn't mention that and vmware support was completely useless (although really that's pretty much always the case at this point)
