VCSA 6.5 mail relay problem

Hi,

i´ve configured the VCSA with a mail server and a mail-sender Address (e.g. vcsa@mydomain.com)

The mail server is in the same subnet without any firewall rules between the VCSA and himself.

In the next step, i´ve configured an custom altert with a mail-send action. I used my personal mail address (e.g. my.name@mydomain.com).

When the altert send a status mail, the log file shows me a lot of sending errors.

/var/log/messages

550 5.1.1 <my.name@mydomain.com>... User unknown

451 4.4.1 reply: read error from mail.mydomain.com.

...

I think, the sending alert service doesn't use the VCSA Mail preferences . It takes a mx lookup to the recipient mail domain (my.name@mydomain.com) and it would like to sent the alert mail directly to that one, but without any password and user credentials.

So, where can i configure the credentials or alternatively, can i disable the mx lookup and can i configure manually a mail-relay in the sendmail configuration?

thanks for your help!
