VCSA 6.0 would like to build a new VCSA 6.5 how do i migrate the esxi hosts?

Hi

We are looking to setup VCSA 6.5 in two datacentres so they both run independently and each DC has active, passive and witness nodes.

Whats the best way of migrating the esxi hosts onto each DC? simply be disconnecting and readiing into 6.5?

Any help appreciated.

Many Thanks

Amit

If you are completely deploying a new 6.5 VCSA then you should disconnect the host from existing vcenter  and connect it to the new VCSA6.5. Please make sure you have migrated your host from DVS to standard switch before disconnecting from vcenter.

If you are upgrading existing VCSA to 6.5 nothing is required.
