Hi sokandetta,
Welcome to the community.
The question is what can't be done in vCOPS Custom UI.
Custom UI is where you get all the dashboarding capabilities. If you have any third party configurations that you have to do or integrate third party applications Custom UI is the place.
You can configure Adapters for vCOPS in Custom UI. You can have custom widgets in custom ui which can be configured for all the resources you have in your datacenter. You can import your AD users into custom ui and share the dashboards that they are entitled for.
These are just some of its capabilities. the things you can do in custom ui is immense.
All in all custom ui is the best thing in vCOPS.
Thanks alot Abhilash for the helpful answer, but if you can do me one more favor, please can you provide me with tutorial or video that explains or shows the configuration of one of these examples ?! ..
