VCENTER upgrade from 5.5 windows to 6.5 Appliance

just curious of the steps necessary to get this accomplished.  Do i need to get to an appliance on 5.5 then go to 6.5 or can i go straight to 6.5 Appliance from 5.5 Windows??  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

You can migrate directly from vCenter Server 5.5 for Windows  to the vCSA 6.5.

Please double-check that your DNS is configured properly prior to starting the migration, i.e. Forward, and Reverse lookup works.
