Upgrade vCenter server 6.5.0a to 6.5.0d in linked mode

Hi,

I have two sites with vCenter with external PSC. I want to upgrade the two vcenters from 6.5.0a to 6.5.0d.

I know the procedure. I first upgrade the PSC and later the vCenter, but I have these two vCenters in linked mode. Do I have to do some different? Or the procedure it is the same?

First I upgrade SIte A and then I upgrade Site B?

Thanks

Best regards

There is thread in the forum for VC60 version with similar topology and I think same thing applies to 6.5 as well.

Recommended way is to first upgrade all PSC nodes  and then VC nodes.

Upgrading Site1 (PSC1 and VC1) and then site 2(PSC2 and VC2) also possible but make sure you have taken backup of all nodes before upgrade process.

Thanks for the replies.

So I understand the steps are the following:

1)Upgrade PSC Site 1

2)Upgrade PSC Site 2

3)Upgrade VCSA Site 1

4)Upgrade VCSA Site 2

Thanks
