Upgrade vCenter 5.5 with SRM 5.8 to vCenter 6 with SRM 6.1

Hi, guys.

My name Vinicius, I have a enviorment vsphere 5.5 with SRM 5.8 configuring i need upgrade my enviorment to vsphrere 6 with SRM 6.1.

So, what are the best steps to upgrade enviorment ?

The upgrade of SRM from version 5.8 to 6.1 can't be done directly and you will have to upgrade first your SRM to version 6.0 and then upgrade the SRM again to version 6.1. The upgrade process is very easy, just run the installer and it will detect a previous installed version. But you need to consider some things before the upgrade, like the storage array support if you are using ABR.

Upgrading from Site Recovery Manager 5.x to Site Recovery Manager 6.1 is not supported. Upgrade Site Recovery Manager 5.x to a Site Recovery Manager 6.0.x release before you upgrade to Site Recovery Manager 6.1.
