Unable to login to Vcenter / vsphere

Dear VMware users,

Yesterday we have done the installation of vcenter. This was working fine untill we did some changes on the windows server, and vcenter was not working anymore.

Now, this was not a problem because the vcenter was only for testing.

No i would like to connect to my ESXI with the vSphere or true the web url, but my password is not working (account is not working).

Even a connection to the physical device is not working.

I did try the old account i always used (user name root and my password ) and some DC users.. even the vsphere.local administrator account.

Hope you guys/girls can help me with this pain in the ... situation.

I hope you are able to access webclient but login failed due to incorrect password for both normal users as well as administrator@vsphere.local.

If so I would recommend to resent the Administrator@vsphere.local password first. Please find the steps in following uRL.

Thanks for the answer.

Only the vcenter server is not running (bad server). I am only able to go directly to the webinterface of the ESXI.

if you dong remember root password of ESXi, unfortunately only option is reinstall.

I know the password,

Only i am unable to get in. Its like the account is disable after the vcenter installation.
