So i have a customer who done the following:
Added multiple hosts to vCenter, went to install updates using update manager. Selected host and selected re-mediate. Server went through the motions of remediation and rebooted. After server came back online after initial reboot it is unable to connect to vCenter.
Updated version: ESXi 5.5U3b
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sean.
Hi,
I guess your customer forgot to update the vCenter server before he updated the hosts.
You need at least version 5.5 U3b on the vCenter to manage the hosts of those version.
