This virtual machine failed to become vSphere HA Protected and HA may not attempt to restart it after a failure,

how to do solve it。

Hi,

This issue can be resolved by

1) Restart vCenter management servies from VC or either give a vc reboot

if that does'nt work

2) Restart Management services of all the host.

I reboot the vc server ,it's ok now,

I need your help on other issue ,

when I used VDP backup my virtual machines , but a few virtual machines can't be backup ,

Error Code: operation failed duo to esxiting snapshot .

in snap manage ,i can't found the snapshot , but in the virtual machine directory i found some 00001.vmdk files ,

and search some kb ,but can't solved it .

Did you exclude this machine in HA settings like if you set "Disable" on few VM HA settings (cluster level) ?

I was able to get this working without rebooting VC or restarting the management agents. I right click on host and "Reconfigure for vSphere HA".

This was in v6, on a vSAN cluster.
