I want use vLCM for update ESXi hosts but while want setup image for esxi select version there is not anything . I am using HPE custom image 7.0 2 now what should I do ? Do I have to upload an image ?
Yes you do. Download the ISO file and upload it.
Do I have to upload HPE Custom Image for ESXi iso file orHPE Custom Image for ESXi 7.0 U2 Offline Bundle
depot file ?
You have to use the ISO file. The offline bundle is a zip file.
I know it . According to attach pic I don't have any option drop-down Esxi version
want to know is that mandatory select iso file ? because imagine for the future if we want update esxi we have to upload zip file .
On the other hand there is an option Import image when can I use it ?
For some reason, I don't recognize the menu that is in the picture. Where in the UI are you doing this?
Click on Cluster > update > setup image and will show that
Ahh... I was looking at the host level... I can select the version that is under the image depot under ESXi versions. Do you have anything there?
Unfortunately I don't have any option for esxi version here . This is exactly my problem. So I think have to upload my current ESXi image here . but want to know Is that mandatory to upload ISO file or can upload depot file ? on the other hand there is an option import image that we can select json file . What is that ?
