After installing and migratin to vcenter 6 noticed missing items in web client and in inventory search. Resetting data provider vpx (KB2113435) didn't help - after 24 hours syncronisation didn't coplete - only 25% of items (19 hosts out of 72) are visible in inventory.
Hi kresnodar, i faced same issue earlier when i upgraded VC 5.0 to 6.0. searched many articles but no use finally added each host manually to inventory. 😞
Was it an upgrade or new instance? I have made clear install, manually added hosts in vSphere Client, but didn't see them in WebClient. Did you try to reset Inventory Service Database?
