Support assistant & the lookupservice

Hi All,

I'm trying to install support assistant here but am having issue connecting to the lookupservice. Cannot connect to lookupservice is the message I am getting.

Don't think it is a network problem. vCenter 6 & support assistant 6.

Anybody any ideas?

lookupservice by default is listening on port 7444, did you check that firewall is not blocking communication between your support assistant and lookupservice

since you mentioned vCenter 6, is this Embedded PSC or External, if your vCenter 6 is with external PSC then your lookup services are located in PSC node.

That did the trick for me thanks, I had an external PSC so was pointing at the wrong place.
