Storage view in vCenter

Hi

We have windows 2008 server provisioned with 200 Gb thin provision from the SAN .. Meanwhile we could observer the difference between allocated storage and usage storage from vCenter view ..

In Operating system it shows 158 GB used , whereas in VC it shows 148 GB .. How we can justify the 10 Gb difference ..

OS shows the data being currently stored on the windows file system that actually reclaim the blocks once the data is deleted from it. vCenter view shoes the blocks that have been used on the VMFS. Even if the data is deleted it doesnot actually reclaims the dirty blocks.
