Shutdown VCHA

Hi

I'm using ESXI 6.7 with VDS and VCenter 6.7 . VCHA is configured and working well. Now I need to shutdown my whole server room for 1 day.

  1. what is the safest way to shutdown my VCHA and start it again?
  2. does it need to add them to ephemeral port before shutdown?

Thank you in advance

That's not a requirement. However, in environments that I setup/configure, I always at least create an ephemeral port group for the management network to be safe in case something unexpected happens, and the vCSA's network settings need to be reconfigured from an ESXi host directly.
Better safe than sorry 😉
